County, City & Fort Detrick to Hold Press Conference on Formation of Community Advisory Committee

The Frederick Board of County Commissioners, The City of Frederick and Fort Detrick will hold a press conference at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, to announce the formation of a Containment Laboratory Community Advisory Committee.  The conference will be held at City Hall, 101 North Court Street, Frederick, Md.

The purpose of the committee is to expand communications between the public, the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases and containment laboratories at Fort Detrick and in Frederick County.

The press conference will be broadcast live on FCG TC (cable channel 19), City cable channel 99 and on webcasting at http://www.frederickcountyMD.gov/video and http://www.cityoffrederick.com
