Is Frederick, Maryland safe?
There has been an ongoing saga in Frederick, Maryland surrounding the army base, Fort Detrick. The issue is over health warnings and a possible cancer cluster that is currently being investigated.
400 acres, known as Area B owned by Fort Detrick, was the Army base's storage and dumping ground for many years. One chemical known to be tested, sprayed, and dumped in the area is Agent Orange.
Many citizens of Frederick living in very close proximity to Area B have reported shocking rates of cancer and other deadly illnesses.
"The people of Frederick need to know there is a serial killer in their backyard called Fort Detrick", says Randy White, founder of the Kristen Renee Foundation.
Angie Pieper, president of the Foundation and sister of Kristen Renee, urges the citizens of Frederick to get informed and to take action.
